Thanksgiving Food Collection

Our Thanksgiving food collection is for the Rural school kids of Arcade. We partner with the Yorkshire Methodist Church who provides snack packs to children attending the schools around Arcade from elementary school up to high school.

Items needed include: easy to make breakfast and lunch snacks such as individual cereal, breakfast bars, pop tarts, microwaveable Mac and cheese, peanut butter and jam, and juice boxes.

Donations will be accepted up until November 8th.

This year, the St. Mark’s Choir extends a special invitation to work with our choir towards singing at the 9pm Christmas Eve service! Beginning Thursday, October 1, the beginning of our choir rehearsals (7pm until about 7:45) will be devoted to preparing our anthems and other music for Christmas Eve. If you’d like to sing with our choir but aren’t sure you’re up for regular Sunday mornings or long Thursday rehearsals throughout the year, this opportunity is for you! Please email our director, Michael McNeill, at music@stmarksop.org to indicate your interest.
